荊州市巨鯨傳動機械有限公司，位于歷史名城荊州，是國家最早定點的專業(yè)減速機生產廠家之一，至今已有近四十多年的減速機制造經歷，擁有一批減速機制造的優(yōu)秀人才，減速機設計、生產能力在全國同行業(yè)處于領先地位，是中南地區(qū)最大的減速機專業(yè)生產廠家。
公司現(xiàn)有員工700多人，其中工程技術人員200余人。廠區(qū)面積20萬平方米，建筑面積7萬平方米，擁有立式加工中心、數(shù)控鏜銑床、磨齒機等各種高、精、尖設備500臺（套），其中精加工全部由數(shù)控設備完成。有配套齊全的熱處理設備。本公司生產的各種減速機達300多個品種。同時根據(jù)用戶要求生產各種非標類專用減速機，年生產能力5000臺（套） 以上。
公司實施了全面的ERP管理；產品設計均采用計算機輔助設計系統(tǒng)；機械冷、熱加工工藝先進，齒輪加工采用滲碳、氮化、磨齒等工藝，精度達到5級以上。擁有三坐標測量機，齒輪檢測儀，封閉式齒輪傳動加載試驗臺等設備。質量管理體系完善，已通過ISO9001認證。

根據(jù)公司發(fā)展需要，總投資5.5億元人民幣，在荊州市工業(yè)園區(qū)興建占地20萬平方米的巨鯨工業(yè)園，項目分三期建設。一期工程和二期工程已竣工投產，三期工程正在建設中。
