北京首鋼機(jī)電有限公司機(jī)械廠主要經(jīng)營(yíng)生產(chǎn)制造各種治金成套設(shè)備（包括采礦、高爐設(shè)備、燒結(jié)、焦化、煉鐵、煉鋼、連鑄、軋鋼等設(shè)備）及各種動(dòng)力機(jī)械設(shè)備、傳動(dòng)機(jī)械設(shè)備、環(huán)保設(shè)備及各種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、非標(biāo)準(zhǔn)機(jī)械零部件、水利水電的電機(jī)葉片等。具有科研、設(shè)計(jì)、制造、安裝、售后服務(wù)的綜合實(shí)力。能夠滿足國(guó)內(nèi)外用戶對(duì)機(jī)械產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量和服務(wù)的各種要求，并能為國(guó)內(nèi)外用戶提供各種技術(shù)服務(wù)和咨詢業(yè)務(wù)。目前，北京首鋼機(jī)電有限公司機(jī)械廠已成為國(guó)內(nèi)引進(jìn)、消化、研制冶金設(shè)備和冶金企業(yè)機(jī)械設(shè)備備件的生產(chǎn)基地。 
    北京首鋼機(jī)電有限公司機(jī)械廠地處北京石景山區(qū)，建廠已有54年歷史，占地面積約為15.4萬(wàn)平方米。擁有各類加工、檢測(cè)設(shè)備432臺(tái)，除一些通用機(jī)床外，還包括具有國(guó)內(nèi)外先進(jìn)水平的機(jī)床如：16m×3250臥式車(chē)床、2m－10m數(shù)控車(chē)床、1.25m―8m立式車(chē)床、2臺(tái)1
